Anti-Bullying Animation

Why? is an anti-bullying video that will be made available, free of charge, to approximately twenty seven thousand primary schools, reaching an estimated audience of ten million pupils, throughout England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

It will be a mixture of real people and animation involving some of the characters above.  With respect to Myja, the Indian Princess, who will be the signer for children with impaired hearing.

Myja’s signing role requires accurate dexterity, therefore, in order to fit in and become part of the animations story-line she will appear only as a head and hands.

Sensei Charity C.I.O and its sister not-for-profit Community Interest Company, Wannabe Enterprises C.I.C, are preventative anti-bullying organisations, with an imaginative and innovative approach to working with young students throughout the UK and Northern Ireland by interaction.

The implications of bullying are numerous and have an umbilical link to other forms of anti-social behaviour, including Racism, Homophobia, Physical Appearance or people with Disabilities the list goes on.

In some cases, bullying is a contribution in the rise of Knife Crime.  It may not be the bully carrying the knife, it could be the victim of bullying who feels it is the only way of protecting themselves.

We appreciate the overstretched resources of schools and educational bodies, and that is why we want to help to elevate this problem, while at the same time getting over our message of Preventative Bullying for free.

This animation project is only the first of many innovative ways of tackling bullying, mainly via the use of the Arts, Media, Music and the Entertainment Industry.
